Tea Project (Week 3)
Today I have been developing my ideas for the tea project, and so far I have two scenes that I've scripted and story boarded, one of a mug on a pier and another of iced tea in a café.
I was going to do the iced tea like this in a takeaway cup, but I changed my mind and made her a jar instead, as she has more personality.

Above is the animatic made from the storyboards. It still needs changes in timing but I'm liking it so far. Here is the script:
Tea Project Script
~Seagull scene~
Establishing shot of the pier and the mug to the right side of the frame.
Mug sits on pier in Falmouth, perched by a lamp post with a view of the sea and the docks behind her.
“Ah, isn’t it so refreshing to have a cuppa by the sea!”
She smiles and closes her eyes, looking up a bit as if soaking in the sunshine.
Seagulls start cawing above her.
She opens her eyes and scowls at them, proclaiming “Ugh, seagulls. Always making such a racket!”
Then suddenly one of the seagulls caws loudly and poops down, landing in the mug.
Her faces becomes the definition of disgusted.

~Iced Tea scene~
Nice old lady as a jar of iced tea.
She sits on a café table outdoors in the shade from the sun, shivering.
“Ooh, it’s a bit chilly out here, isn’t it?
…
Oh wait, *chuckles* that’s just me!”
Her ice cubes bounce slightly as she giggles.
~End Scene~
